योजना क्या है? — What Is PM Kisan?
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is a government scheme that gives ₹6,000 per year directly to every eligible farmer family in India — transferred straight to their bank account in three installments of ₹2,000 each.
It is 100% funded by the central government and is one of the largest Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) programmes in the world. Since its launch on 24 February 2019, it has disbursed over ₹4.46 lakh crore to more than 11 crore farmer families.

कौन पात्र है? — Who Is Eligible
All landholding farmer families — husband, wife, and minor children — who own cultivable land as per state land records. No land-size restriction since June 2019.
Income tax payers, government employees (except MTS/Group D), pensioners drawing ₹10,000+/month, MPs/MLAs, mayors, professionals (doctors, lawyers, CAs, architects), and NRIs.
रजिस्ट्रेशन कैसे करें? — How to Register
Go to pmkisan.gov.in → Click "Farmers Corner" → "New Farmer Registration"
Select Rural or Urban. Enter Aadhaar number, Aadhaar-linked mobile, and your state. Verify with OTP.
Add your bank account number (must be Aadhaar-seeded via NPCI), IFSC code, and land records (Khasra/Khatauni).
Free via OTP on the portal, biometric at CSC, or face authentication on the PM-KISAN app. No installment without eKYC.
Now mandatory in 14+ states. Register free at your state AgriStack portal or nearest Common Service Centre.

Type your PM-KISAN registration number or Aadhaar number and verify with OTP.
See all past payments, transaction dates, and amounts. If payment shows "FTO generated" but no bank credit, contact your bank about NPCI Aadhaar mapping.
